Pollution Reduction

ECOCLEAN coatings provide powerful defences against pollution.

The coatings use technology inspired by how mother nature self-cleans the earth protecting our indoor spaces and outdoor environment.

Reducing Indoor Pollution

We spend up to 90% of our time indoors often without adequate ventilation. ECOCLEAN coatings can significantly improve Internal Air Quality (IAQ) by reducing the following harmful substances linked to Sick Building Syndrome (SBS).

Bad Odours

ECOCLEAN reduces odours in toilets, gyms, and areas that harbour undesirable waste, smoke, and food smells

Porous Surfaces

Use ECOCLEAN to seal porous surfaces that can generate smells as they degrade or lead to bacterial growth

What is SBS?

Sick Building Syndrome (SBS) is a condition in which people in a building suffer from acute health conditions and discomfort that appear to be linked to the building in which they work or reside.

In 1984, The World Health Organisation highlighted that 30% of new and renovated buildings may be the cause of SBS, largely driven by poor Internal Air Quality (IAQ).

Building design, poor ventilation systems, and humidity levels all contribute to SBS.

Reducing Outdoor Pollution

Our ability to breathe, fresh clean air is a growing concern for many.

The main cause of outdoor pollution is transport and industrial emissions.

ECOCLEAN coatings are able to turn harmful compounds such as smoke, smog, nitrogen dioxide, and airborne particulates into harmless by-products when they come into contact with a coated surface.

This leads to greener buildings and cleaner and safer spaces.
