BRIEF
Following the completion of internal concrete works and ECOTONE colour blending of mismatched insitu concrete walls and columns, a high-performance protective system was required to preserve the finished architectural surfaces and ensure long-term durability within a high-traffic airport environment.
The project required:
- Protection of completed ECOTONE coloured internal concrete surfaces
- Resistance to staining, and environmental soiling
- Protection against water ingress into concrete substrates
- Improved cleanability and reduced ongoing maintenance requirements
- Long-term preservation of a consistent architectural finish
MATERIAL & APPLICATION
- ECOCLEAN Concrete Sealer+
ECOCLEAN Concrete Sealer+ is a high-performance, high-solids inorganic porosity sealer applied to completed ECOTONE treated concrete surfaces. It penetrates and seals the concrete substrate, providing a durable protective barrier without altering the natural appearance of the finish.
OUTCOME
ECOCLEAN Concrete Sealer+ delivers long-term protection to the internal concrete surfaces at Gold Coast Airport following ECOTONE colour correction works.
